 Ignition Tune Up Kit

 Consists of

• Tour Max Points (Made in Japan)
• Tour Max Condenser (Made in Japan)
• New NGK Spark Plug (OEM)
• 1 Meter of Wiring

For all years and models of TY80 including all models of Whitehawk

We supply 1 meter of wire as you need to replace the wire between the points and condenser and the wire between the condenser and the coil.

The wire is in yellow, this is standard practice at Trail & Trials UK so we know the wiring has been replaced. On models with lights you will need to pull the old coil wire through the loom and replace it with the yellow wire.

With the TY80 Kit we supply the points that are used on 99% of the models. If you find these to be incorrect then you will need to return the new points along with your old points so we can match them up. From what we have been able to discover the reason 1% of TY80's have different points is that if the backplates ran out on the production line then the bikes were fitted with whatever was on the shelf. As a lot of small Yamaha's used the same size back plate the bikes could have been fitted with one of several, this is why we need you old points.

 We are also going to supply instructions for timing the bikes up where all you will need is a battery and a bulb, no feeler gauges or dial gauges required!
