This is mearly a cap and not the dipstick which the bike came with originally. These are no longer available from Yamaha and, to be honest you don't really need a dipstick in a 2 stroke. As long as you have put the correct amount of oil in and there are no leaks then the level will be fine. The only time the engine will use any gearbox oil is if the crank seals have gone, you will notice this by all the white smoke coming out of the exhaust

Note-This the ENGINE OIL FILLER CAP NOT the 2 STROKE TANK that is listed in section - 'Oil Tank'
