This is a reproduction part rather than a replica as getting the exact shape correct is very difficult (i.e. VERY EXPENSIVE!). See the picture above with the reproduction lid next to a used original. The spring is again not a replica but it does the job, both the upper part of the lid and the spring are tucked up underneat the headstock so you don't see them anyway.

Finished in the correct Yamaha Silver and supplied with a mild steel cotter pin as it is very difficult to open a stainless one the few MM required.
