We recommend soaking the plates in oil overnight before fitting

 The secret of a good light clutch is to use heavy duty plates & lightweight springs not the other way around.

 If your clutch is slipping then it needs new plates. Just putting heavy duty springs in will means the clutch action is heavier and it will only last a few rides more before slipping again.
